Free Employee Evaluation Forms Make Record Keeping Easy

Most companies want to keep some records of how their employees are doing on the job. Their attendance tells only part of the story. Now there are free employee evaluation forms available to ask questions and keep a written record of job performance in a uniform way.

Uniformity makes it easy to compare one person to another or to the entire group of those doing the same job. It seems fair to judge everyone using the same standards. Preferential treatment given to one or two employees should not be a regular practice.

The human resources manager may be the person doing the evaluations. He or she will be able to see how all workers doing the same job compare to each other. One person who is giving superior results will enhance the company and increase profits. Perhaps that person can be recognized or rewarded in a financial way.

A warning could be issued to someone who is really slack compared to all the others in that position. Sometimes a warning must be issued and this written form will be evidence of the reason for that warning. It is good for showing how much a new employee has improved over his first review.

A free performance appraisal form will show the value a worker brings to the organization. Looking at the abilities that make some people do better in a certain position will help to select new candidates for that job as opportunities for new hires become available.

If an employee in a large company is putting forth good effort exhibited by good attendance, he might be transferred to a job he is more proficient at within that same company. The outstanding worker may be up for a promotion and a raise in salary. The amount of a salary increase may depend on daily performance.

A persons on the job work ethics become evident after a year. If he puts forth no effort and his attendance is not good, firing him may be considered. In such a case, the company will be protected by the careful analysis of his record. If it is written down, he cannot claim the company showed a personal bias against him when firing him.

When a worker is not dedicated to his job it is obvious after a certain length of time. He will not put forth sufficient effort to keep up with his fellow workers. The company may need to fire him if it continues. A written analysis protects the interest of the company. They can prove his firing was justifiable with one of the well-kept free employee evaluation forms.
