This venture requires awareness of the industry, what it requires and the opportunities available for those who choose this career path. The field offers a variety of options from dance genres, audience and performance platforms. A choice must be made on the market segment to focus.

There are various genres of dances including jazz, tap, ballet, salsa and hip hop. Commitment to dancing means registering for lessons where a tutor guides you through the movements. The teacher will point out mistakes to ensure that you are getting better by the day. Training requires consistency to master all the moves.
